おきパ

Yes,...if you have asian text support, you see that title right. It's my lame attempt at Japanese contractions, so to speak. おきパ for 沖田パーティ. But onto that later. First, I have to cover the lame stuff. Then the exciting stuff is last.

I went home this weekend to take home a bunch of big stuff I don't need at college because everything I have won't fit in my car in one trip. So, that was the solution. It's a shame I had to do it this weekend, but it was really just the logical time to do it. At home, I didn't really do anything because I'm a slacker at life. I haven't been working on the paper that's due tonight. So, I spent most of my time reading my book...and then I stopped reading and just started writing. F that shiz...I can't remember much of what I read after I read it in that book, so I decided to just start skimming through the chapters and giving summaries of them in paragraph form. Althought that isn't what the professor really says he wants for in the assignment. He says he wants a argument analysis, not a book review; but the instructions sure sound like book summary. XP bleh... Anyways, that was most of the boring weekend. I had to fill up my car before coming back and I was depressed that it cost me $30, and the tank wasn't empty. T.T That's up like $13-$15 from when I first got that car. Gas prices make me want to hate life. Stupid government and stupid economy.

Speaking of stupid stuff...>.>...I watched the second Naruto movie. It was really terrible. Definately worse than the first one, but not as bad as Versus. Either way, I wouldn't really want to see it again. What are they thinking when they come up with these movies??? And why can't Naruto have a move other than rasengan? ...although I will admit that double-rasengan is kinda cool.

To the party...the party, yeah!

We wanted to have a farewell for 沖田先生 and decided to have a small gathering. Before my oral test on Wednesday, I invited her to have a "last drink" with me, Kevin, and Beth. The planning was really terrible. We really had no idea where to have it. Luckily Dominic let us have it at his apartment. Okita was supposed to show up at 8, but she was late...as she always seems to be. But it's cool, I was just worried she wouldn't show up. She said she would bring food, but I was amazed at how much food she brought. It was sooo much. And I know that Chinese food from Wegman's is not cheap. >.<; Beth made this really good cashew chicken stuff. I was sad that I ate a wrap before going there...I didn't think Okita would bring so much food. It was amazing to be able to just hang out with her because she is really cool person. We played DDR and Naruto, and like Beth said...she picks up games really fast. Most of the night was spent in conversation, though, much like I expected it to be. Ah, it was so interesting to hear what Okita really thought about classes and people and other random stuff! It was just a lot of fun. I wasn't exactly sure how it would turn out, but I think it ended up being good. I'm glad she was happy with it. I even got an Okita hug. It made me feel special, and then I was happy that everything worked out and we got to hang out with her one last time before she leaves. I wonder if anyone else got a hug...?
